Catenins
in Wnt Signaling
POSTDOCTORAL
POSITION:
A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study the roles
of ß-catenin in mammary gland development and cancer. We have
developed transgenic mouse models (see Imbert et al., J Cell Biol. 2001,
153:555-68) and cell culture systems to investigate how ß-catenin
coordinates the cells proliferative and adhesive responses to
Wnt signaling during branching morphogenesis and aveologenesis. For
additional information see http://www.med.nyu.edu/people/P.Cowin.html
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and experience in cell and/or molecular
biology. Competitive salaries compatible with the cost of living in
New York and housing will be available. The ideal applicant is a bright
self-motivated scientist.
